Job Description

SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the VP of Sales and Marketing to perform internal and external communications. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the branding of Exceptional Living Centers and managed centers including websites, signage, press releases, logo use, collateral, flyers, and trade shows. Monitors the website traffic.
  • Work with media outlets to publish timely company information, such as press releases, brochures, and other materials.
  • Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all organization publications.
  • Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision.
  • Work with the Senior VP of Business Development to create advertising, marketing and promotional plans.
  • Assist management staff in preparing for public speaking engagements and developing required presentations.
  • Coordinate paid and non-paid media opportunities.
  • Edit documents including success stories, website news, and correspondence.
  • Maintain industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks.
  • Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
  • Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as the CEO and COO. Handles confidential business information.
  • This position requires standing, sitting, stooping, lifting up to 25 pounds or more, bending, climbing, twisting upper body, walking, running, carrying, listening, talking, use of telephone, and exposure to medical equipment and persons with risk of illness.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Experience and/or bachelor's degree in marketing or communications from a four-year college or university preferred. Other degrees will be considered
